In the open sea

Weekend visit to Delhi. The small version of Taj :) Tomb of Humayun. Surrounded by massive gardens and enclosed by castle-like walls.

Saint-Petersburg, Dvortsovaya square. About 4am, 1st of January 2007, the guarding swat team had just left the square in front of the Hermitage. Except for some leftover bottles and other products of a celebrating crowd, it's quite a view.

I don't think the sheer size of the Red Square can be caught onto an image; unlike perhaps a shard of its beauty.

Was hard to get to work today, as the Path trains run straight into the former World Trade Center site. Atmosphere there was intense, political slogans and eulogies over the victims were all over the place.
Lots of great hearts and minds were taken away on that day five years ago.

This strange creature is mostly observed eating and sleeping, like most of the cats I suppose. This particular specimen is, however, anything but active. As I was making pictures, the cat (whose name is Maxic by the way) didn't move a single muscle. Sometimes I wonder how my dogs tolerate them, so delicious and lazy.
